Can I restore deleted files to a different folder of my choice?

The Dropbox Community "process" is flawed, with difficult to assist support (or almost non-existent)...how is it that a simple easy request is so crazily misinterpreted or unresolvable? Situation: ...

That's not possible. Files are restored to their original location. There's no option to restore them to a different folder.
