Can I restore files that have been permanently deleted if I upgrade to a paid plan?
I deleted the files stored in my Plus account on October 21, 2025, and transferred them to a new cloud service. After that, I downgraded my account to the Basic plan. However, the transfer to the new cloud was not completed successfully.
I would like to know whether upgrading my Basic plan to a Professional account would allow me to recover those files, or if they have been permanently deleted.
I have attempted to contact Get Help multiple times but have not received a clear or definitive answer. I would appreciate clarification on whether file recovery is still possible and, if so, what steps I should take.
Thank you community for your assistance.
Rebecca

Hey there rebeccaraposo thanks for reaching out and for clearly explaining the situation. I can definitely understand how frustrating this is, especially after the transfer to the new cloud service did not complete as expected.
Unfortunately, upgrading your account now would not allow those files to be recovered, since file recovery depends on the plan you were on when the files were deleted and the recovery window has already passed.
