Can I restore permanently deleted files

Hello- a colleague sent me a dropbox link from a personal account to video files about a year ago. I never downloaded them and the colleague has since permamently deleted the files from his dropbox and cloud. He doesn't remember when he did this but it was longer than 30 days ago. Do I (or does he) have any hope of being able to restore these files? If not from dropbox, but via a third party software? Any help much appreciated.

    No. Permanently deleted files are deleted permanently.

    No. Permanently deleted files are deleted permanently.
