Can I retain the original name of the file if it's uploaded through Camera Uploads?
I noticed that the file name for camera uploads will be automatically changed.
Original file name: 20240330-164639
When uploaded to dropbox: 2024-03-30 16.46.39.
Is there anyway to retain the original naming?

No. The Camera Uploads feature will always rename the file. If you don't want the file renamed, you'll need to upload it manually.

Reopening this case!
I'm not using a camera upload feature. I've specifically picked a couple of images on my phone, uploaded them to a specific folder on Dropbox and it renamed all the files?? This isn't a user experience a company of the level of Dropbox should offer. Ok I agree with backing up all my mobile photos would be something else and could generate double naming, but specific files or any other case but backup should retain the original name.

Hi Juliana Silva, did you manually upload the photos to a folder with an automation or naming convention applied to it?
