Can naming conventions be applied to subfolders?

We are cleaning up our organization's Dropbox folders and implementing a simple naming convention (separating file names with spaces, not dashes). When I set a naming convention for a folder, I would like that naming convention to apply to all subfolders. Is that possible?

I gave it a try, and it appears that I would need to set the convention for each individual folder - which, for our organization, would take ages! Any ideas?

Hi arwalsh-ccj, and thanks for posting on our forum today.

Naming conventions are currently only applied on the main folder for which you set them; you’d need to set them separately for the subfolders, I’m afraid.

I’ve passed your feedback on this though to our team, as I understand why this can be cumbersome in your case.

Ping me, if you need something else.
