Can't Apply Organization Policies...
Recently, I have started getting the below error when trying to open Excel to edit.
Can't apply organizations policies Intune service error...
Does any knows how to fix this on an Android Samsung Note10+
I solved the problem. It is the problem of excel. So, resetting excel is the solution.
1. Reset Office 365 from excel application.
Follow the instruction of the page: https://www.compsmag.com/how-to/reset-microsoft-office-apps-in-android/
2. Open the Dropbox application of the android phone.
3. Open an excel file saved in Dropbox with excel application.
4. Excel application instructs to login to dropbox, so login with valid account.
5. Now, capable read/write the excel file with excel application of android smart phone.
PS. I posetd as hal-ueda before, then I made an account hal_ueda by mistake. Both are me.

Hey GSims, thanks for reaching out and happy Monday!
This sounds like an error coming from a third party app you're using (Intune).
Can you please send me a screenshot, so I can check it out?
Does this give you any useful info?
Let me know how it goes! - GSims4 years agoHelpful | Level 5I don't see where I can attach an screenshot.

You'll need to hit the 'reply' button and you should be able to see a camera icon (along with other icons) right above the box where you can type your reply. - GSims4 years agoHelpful | Level 5There is not an icon on the Dropbox app to add an attachment.

Youre not doing it via the Dropbox app, you are doing it via this website here
- GSims4 years agoHelpful | Level 5The error message reads:
Can't open file
We couldn't apply organizational policies to give you access to your account because of an intune service error. Please try again later. - Mark4 years ago

That is almost certainly an error from the program itself, not Dropbox, but without a screengrab we cannot confirm it.
However, if you are trying to configure Microsoft Intune to work with Dropbox then it wont - Microsoft do not support it. OR if your organisation is using Intune at all the same can happen.
You need to speak to your own IT Teams or whoever is configuring the device and software.

There is some sort of organisational policy at play - logged in version of Excel linked to work for example

I have the exact same issue when trying to open and modify excel files from my Android tablet. It not connected with any "organization", if I understand what is meant by that.
