Do I need a paid account to edit uploaded documents?

Hi there, I am new to Dropbox and I have uploaded now files to it but I am unable to work in the Word documents and use them as `working documents` or what I mean like documents that are not finished...

    Hey Dominique4, how are you today?

     

    You should be able to edit Microsoft Office documents through our website with no problems, even with a free account.

     

    To do that, open the document in question on our website, click the "Open" button right above the document, and then click on "Word for the web".

     

    Let me know how it goes or if you're having any trouble.
