Dropbox deleted 2GB of data from my computer while syncing.

I checked Nancy. I chacked everywhere, but nothing. It is interesting that while syncing I expected the files from the DB folder to be uploaded to the cloud, but when the sync finished I saw that the DB deleted the data from the My Computer folder and made the folder the same as the cloud instead of the other way around. I am desperate for the data back as I need it badly. Please, please help me!!!

2 years agoHey DimeAt, in your initial post, you mentioned that "you started to sync"; can you please clarify?
Was syncing paused before that?
In any case, if the files never made it to your Dropbox account, meaning they never actually synced, I'm afraid there's no way to retrieve them through Dropbox.
Have you tried some kind of third party app, that would help you retrieve them from your computer's hard drive?
