Dropbox Rewind Not Working

I was trying to add another user to admin privileges on my dropbox account, and in the process, I deleted the files from my account. 

Now, when I try to rewind the dropbox folder, I'm getting the following error: 

 

There was an internal Dropbox error, but we can still help you use Rewind.

When I try to contact support, they ask for a restoration link, but at this point I'm missing files which I don't even know. I only know some files are missing, since I was trying to find one of the folders, which did not get copied. I recovered some of the files from that folder using "Deleted files", but I'd like to just rewind this entire thing so that I do not loose data. 

 

Please help!!

    Hey sgupta304, thanks for reaching out to our Community and sorry to hear about this.

     

    Did you manage to send an email to our support team after all?

     

    If so, can you send us the ticket number, so we can check it out?

     

    If not, what you can do when submitting the form, since you actually need an account rollback, is to locate and provide the event/restoration link which you'd like to roll the account back to and just let the team know in the description box.

     

    Let me know how it goes.

    Hi sgupta304, could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?

     

    Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
