Files disappeared after downgrading. Can I restore them somehow?
A few months ago I downgraded to a basic plan and deleted many files to meet the storage limit of the basic plan. I now see that ALL my files have disappeared. There seems to be no way to find how where they went because there is no direct customer support. All my files have disappeared!!
What kind of files were they, mbschaefer? Shared or non-shared ones?
Can you check your deleted files page and your shared page, to see if you can locate them?

Hi mbschaefer
Downgrading doesnt delete files. So something else is the issue here.
What does www.dropbox.com/events show?

All that link tells is is what files I did delete so what was left would fit in the downgraded version. It doesn't provide clues as to where the files I didn't delete are.

Yes, thank you. I think I've found them in shared folders. 🙏🏻
