Folders/Files in Adobe Photoshop were removed, maybe deleted?
Category correct? I had photoshop opened and in the Path bar, I believe is where i was where it shows the program Dropbox among C:/users, etc.. Did not see the word DROPBOX there before, so I believe I deleted or removed it on or about April 6, 2023. Next thing, all of my files were gone. I got some of them back but most of them were gone from Bridge and also photoshop. I do not remember subscribing to Dropbox or do not even know how it got there in Adobe Photoshop. I am not very adept on a computer, as I am almost 85 years old and can not speak due to Cancer of the Larynx and Voicebox which have been removed.
I sincerely hope that you are able to help me or tell me how I can get those Folders with the Files back into Adobe Photoshop. It would be wonderful to have back.
Thanks so very much for your kind help.

Hi tedi, let's jump right into this!
Based on the situation that you described, we don't know if the files were ever synced to Dropbox, or if you even use our desktop app, since you don't mention them being there.
The best approach would be for you to check your deleted files page in Dropbox, and also your events page, and let me know what is reported there.
Keep me posted!

If I upgrade, will the PHOTO/FILES selected then be put/added to the (Adobe PSCC) in Bridge and also in Photoshop in correct present alphabetical ORDER as the present Folders are shown and the photos that were from that Folder be intact and not all of the photos which now are per the appropriate date present order per the dates and in the Name of the FOLDERS and FILES from the applicable panel as they once were present in that method used before they were deleted. Reference can be found by using Bridge where the Folders panel is and then listed in Photoshop when selected to edit in Bridge.
Hoping that I have made myself clear. I would think that you are very fluent in Photoshop.
Please when you submit your response, can you please do it using my email, so that I do not have to go to the window where it is telling me that I am out of storage and need to UPGRADE, as I had trouble locating where and what the photos that you have that I want to load back into PSCC where all of my Adobe PSCC photos are.
Thank you so very mush, so that I am looking forward to having things recovered and and restored as to the aforementioned perspective where they once were.
Thanks so very much for your assistance.

Hi tedi, keep in mind that if you wish to reach out to our Support using an email, you'd need to submit this relevant form.
Now, as for your worries, I have some more questions: do you have any Backups enabled at the moment?
Where are the files/folders missing from? Are they entirely removed from the device, or you can't see them when accessing your Desktop/Documents/Downloads?
Are you able to locate your files when you visit your Dropbox account online? What did you see when visiting your events page?

Herein is the info that you requested regarding Dropbox per other messages that were sent, received and sent back to you on or about June 28, 2023. Why when it was sent that I did not get a response back in almost 30 days is beyond me. It was sent to dropbox and your name was was noted in the message and reply as to what you had asked me for. Furthermore, It draws a blank as to why when you did not receive my reply that you did not reach out to me as to where was my reply and/or if I had not sent it which I did. Therefore, this is for Megan from COMMUNITY an/or of DROPBOX STAFF.
HERE IS THE LINK TO THE REPLY IN QUESTION.

Hi tedi, it sounds like you might have tried to respond back to us via email.
Keep in mind that it seems like you linked a local file path.
Furthermore, we can't see the content of the email reply you might have sent. If you could copy the information that you provided here, and reply directly via the Community interface like you did now, that'd be amazing.

I had given up due to not belonging to DROPBOX when the event happened. Now on or about 11/06/2023 all of a sudden Dropbox again showed up again and I was not a member at that time. It showed up in Photoshop directly above the Panel where it has all of the Folders of photos are. I then deleted it cause not being a member and it deleted all of my folders with the photos inside of the. So, i have now joined Dropbox hoping I can get them back, to no avail at this point. I got back some of the photos that were from older dates but none of the ones that were there when I deleted Dropbox. I am 85 years old and not that adept or savvy with computers. Please Help Me

Lost all of my Folders with photos and I did not even belong to Dropbox at the time on 11/06/23, have joined since. Same thing happened a year or more ago, same identical thing. I am trying to retrieve and get those photos back, no luck. Hoping you can help me. I did contact MEGAN today via Community whom I had contacted back in 2022 to the same debacle. I have not heard from her today. Therefore, not knowing her status I thought I would make another contact and REALLY, REALLY desperate for assistance. NOTE - I am 85 years old and not that savvy or adept with a computer and a lot of its workings, except for Adobe Creative Cloud(Photoshop2022).
Thanks so very much, as I await for your response. My personal EMAIL - [removed per Community Guidelines]

PS. Due to being the fresh kid on the block, when you answer and want a response, not sure if I know how using DROPBOX. I know unfortunately.

Hi tedi, I’m sorry to hear about the situation.
Have you already checked these pages, Deleted files and Events, and there’s no trace of your missing files?

No, but I will. Thanks so very much.

Nancy, being new to DROPBOX, help me to find where are the Deleted Files and Events that you mentioned to locate them.
Thanks for your kind assistance.
