- 9 years agoThanks for that, can you try unsharing the folder from this page:
https://www.dropbox.com/share
Click the ellipsis (...) and then 'Remove from Dropbox'. The folder will become grayed out on the site, and the folder should vanish from your computer.

9 years agoThis sounds like a message from your OS, are you on Windows by any chance?
You mentioned that you moved the folder to a shared drive at work, does this mean a network drive, or did you share a folder with another Dropbox account?
Any information you can provide would be helpful!

Yes, I use Windows.
I copied the folder and its pictures to a network drive.
