How can I recover files from a deleted account?
I had a premium account for years. All of my files were on it. Then I decided to try Dropbox business so my band and I could work on stuff. It ended up just being too expensive. I just got on after a long time and EVERYTHING is gone. Every last file. I found that I got some emails regarding a possible deletion…however they went into spam. I just found that out today. Is there ANYTHING I can do?

When was the last time you logged into your account prior to today?
Do you see any information on the events page?

Well, the only solid date I can find is just when I got an email that I signed into a new browser. That date is 9/5/2023. I would think I would have accessed the account after that, but I can’t find concrete proof of any other sign ins.

Sorry read this then got distracted by other things lol. The account was a personal account. I created a business account and it pulled in my personal. What was on business is all backed up. The personal, I might be somewhere, but it’s literally my entire graphic design and 20 years of my bands art. If I lose that…that would suck

And to answer your question. There is a login in September ‘24 and again in Feb.

Once an account is deleted it is not possible to recover the data from Dropbox - you are warned this multiple times before you can delete an account.
If you created a business account and merged the personal one in to it (again you are warned, and almost forced, to try and set up a new account) it MAY be possible to restore it via the Admin control panel.
As you were warned the data was being deleted unfortunately its not recoverable. Sorry :(
