How do I find the size of all files in a folder, including files in sub-folders?
How do I find the size of all files in a folder, including files in sub-folders? I am trying to follow the instructions on this page:
https://help.dropbox.com/sv-se/accounts-billing/space-storage/file-size
but the description on that page does not match the current look of the UI. For example, they instruct me to look at a column named "Size", but no such column exist (only "Name", "Modified" and "Members"). They also say there is a menu choice "Calculate Size" in the ellipses menu, but no such menu item exists. This is a pretty fundamental aspect of the system, and I can't really use Dropbox if I can't find this out.
Note: installing dropbox on my computer is not an option, since I have another Dropbox account connected.

Yes, but this only shows the size of individual files. What I need is the total size of all files in a folder and it's subfolders. Using this information, I would need to go into each subfolder, write down the size of each file, and then manually add it together. Clearly not a workable solution.
OK, so I found the "Calculated size" option in the ellipses menu

I also do not see the calculate size option. I have size selected, I selected the folder I want calculated and I only see,

What type of folder are you selecting? Is it a private, shared or team folder?

My folders are mostly only viewable by me, but similarly find the instructions not helpful because while I can set a column to Size at the "Files" level, I'm not getting anything other than "--" as the size for the folders in my dropbox. Maybe I have to wait for the sizes to be calculated?

SOLVED
For others experiencing this same issue, I discovered the following:
Step 1 - At "Files" level, change middle column to right of folder names to "Size" from available drop down.
Step 2 - Dropbox will not automatically calcuate the size, so on the far right side under the visual of the folder you have selected, click the ellipsis - you will see "Calculate Size" near the very bottom. Click. Size will eventually populate.
I've also found if you navigate away from the screen, the folder size will not be populated when you return.
FEATURE REQUEST
It would be nice for Dropbox to have size populated after users choose Size as a column header in Step 1.

Thanks for the reply, swzimmerman, the article originally posted gives the exact steps you already mentioned.
The size for folders isn't automatically calculated when you select the column, you need to manually choose to calculate that folder.

Hey @mandro H. - thanks for nudging us on this thread.
If you don't see the option to calculate the size of a folder after selecting it, you need to make sure that one of the columns at the top read "Size".
