How long to restore a document?

I accidentally deleted a file 3 weeks ago. Today, I was able to find it and click 'restore'. Now the file shows up in my folder, but it's blank. I've waited 4 hours and wonder if it will take longer to restore the document. The size shows up as 11.6 KB, so I know the data is there somewhere, but all I can see is a blank page.

  • Hi efry23, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It should be fairly quick to restore a single document, and it shouldn't take 4 hours.

Depending on the filetype, 11.6 KB is very small, so it could feasibly be a blank document on its own. Are there any other versions of the file in the history?

This will help me to assist further!
