I can't delete/download my backup files, in case my computer crashes.
If your computer crashes or something happens to it...the backup that is essentially a "FOLDER" of you data is inaccessible without that original computer. If you OWN the data in that folder...you sh...

You absolutely can delete your files, whether they're files that you're syncing normally, or a backup that you've made. There are just different ways depending on what you're doing.
Can you provide some details into what exactly you're trying to accomplish (deleting synced files, deleting a backup, etc.) and the exact steps you've taken?

You can still download your data, otherwise it would be a pretty poor backup system (not claiming that it's perfect, by any means, as it does leave a lot to be desired in a backup system).
