I can't edit offline text files through the Dropbox mobile app on iOS
I swear this used to work some time in the last six years. I just got off a plane and saw it didn’t work.
I had an offline .txt file saved in my Dropbox iOS all. It’s a notes file. I added a single line to it and tried to save. And then Dropbox showed me the error:
“Couldn't Save File
An internet connection is required to upload files.”
Of course this doesn’t make sense - this is an offline file, and it’s a pre-existing one. The action I tried to do was to save it, not to add/upload it to Dropbox for the first time.
Details: iPhone SE, iOS 16.6.1, Dropbox app version 344.2.4

Hey dustinfreeman, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the error, so we can take a look?
Thanks so much!

Hi dustinfreeman, thanks for the screenshot. When editing a plain text file on the Dropbox mobile app, you'd need to be available online in order to save the file.
Could you try editing the file via the iOS Files app to see if this helps?
