I'm trying to move a shared folder, but it's getting copied instead.
I am trying to move shared folders, not created by me, I was told this is possible without affecting the content or other users.
However when I try to move a shared folder it duplicates in the pla...

If you right-click on the folder instead, select “Move” and then, paste it in the desired location, do you still see the same result?
Are you trying to move the folder to a separate Dropbox account of yours, by any chance? If yes, then this could be expected as per this point.
