Is there any possible way I can get a copy of the original doc I saved on a past date?

I misplaced a data folder to some other location. Is there any possible way i can get a copy of the orifginal doc i saved on a past date

    Have you tried checking the version history of the file, in order to revert to an older version of it?

     

    Can you give this a go, and let me know how it goes?
