Organizing Shared Folders
I have a lot of folders from different companies sharing different folders with me. I tried to make a folder for each company to put all the folders by the same company in their corresponding folder...

You can move shared folders around (and rename them) at will, as long as you do not move them inside of another shared folder. So, your plan should work. I, for example, have all of mine in a really originally named folder called 'Shares' 🙂
HOWEVER what I would say is that Dropbox takes time to do this. So, if you do it on a computer you need to give it a lot of time to process and wait for it to go through all of the 'x left a share' and 'x joined a share' messages etc. first to reset everything back up again. I'm wondering if it just wasnt given enough time?
