Restore button not working from the mass deletion email alert

When there is a mass deletion on DB (number of files or size of files), we get an email alert. The email gives you a summary of files & sizes the deleted and by whom at what time.  When you click on link, it takes you to the Security page > Mass Deletion, listing all files deleted, but if you click the "Restore" button, it does not restore your file, it just takes you to the Activity page.  I checked folders and no files were restored.  You can do to the "Deleted Files" under the Home page and find them there, but the button on the page the email sends you to does NOT work.

Hi williamcc, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Does it take you to the specific event that was deleted, or the general deleted files page?

This will help me to assist further!

[3] Final time to try to explain.....
    * The email link takes you to the Security section on Admin console
    * Top page says "Alerts/MAss Deletion" and list all files & timestamp of the person's deleted files
    * If you click the RSTORE button on this page it takes you to the Activity general page and not the Deleted Item section.  This button is pointing to the wrong section.  The rep made a note and told me to share here too

We appreciate the feedback on how the email directs you to the activity page and not the deleted files page.
We take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox site and services.

HI Williamcc -  Did you ever get a meaningful answer from dropbox support on this?  I am now facing the same issue - trying to undo a mass 100GB file deletion and the "Restore" button just goes to the activity log.  Dropbox Supports only advice so far - "try a different browser".  Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge - same issue.

Sambo7070....Even though the email alerts you and sends you to the Security section under the Admin Console, you actually need to go here instead:
...[1] Click on DB icon on top left of the web page
...[2] Then click on "Deleted Items" on left side (why this isn't under Admin console is weird)
...[3] Make sure on the right side it list the admin or user under "Deleted by"
...[4] Also it may just show all the files as one listing.  When i first got here i was looking for x97 files, but this section had them grouped together under one line.  I clicked on that on line and then it gave me the option to RESTORE and this restore button actually worked.  Goodluck :-)
