Restore files deleted more than 30 days ago?

Hi all,

I have a shared folder. Today it came to my attention that one of the team members managed do delete all the files about two months ago.

Is there any way I can restore these file when I only have a basic account?

Would it be possible to upgrade my account and then gain access...?

Regards,

Mads

No, to both questions. There's no way to recover files outside of your recovery period (30 days on Basic) and upgrading now will not allow you to recover files that have already expired.

It's simply not possible to recover files beyond the recovery period. The files are already gone.

    Hi,

I am missing a couple of folders (and associated files) from my account. On the events page I can see that these were deleted end of June. Ofcourse I am a "basic" user but I am still hoping that there is a way to recover my files........

    Many thanks,

    Wouter

Hi Wouter_33, let's jump right into this!

Unfortunately, files deleted more than 30 days ago can't be recovered. Even if you paid for an upgraded plan, the extra recovery time would only apply to files deleted after the upgrade.

    I hope this clarifies!

    Hi Megan,

    thank you for your answer.

Does it any difference if the files metioned still show up in the "event list"? I can see that they were deleted at the end of June.

    Best regards,

    Wouter

    Hi Wouter_33, I'm afraid no.

You should usually be able to see deleted files in your event list for up to 6 months.

Ok, but if they are still visible, how come they cannot be recovered?😣

Hi Wouter_33, the action is visible on your events page, however the backups we keep for safety can only be accessed for 30 days after the deletion.
