Timed comments not saving
I've been trying to make comments on my videos, but after I close out of that web browser and then go back, the comments have disappeared. I'm used to working on the web version of dropbox, and this has never been an issue before. It's also happening on multiple videos, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Help!
Hey everyone, thanks for the reports about this.
Can you confirm if you're still having an issue?
If so, let us know what version of your preferred browser you're using.
Thanks.

My work involves multiple editors working on files using the Dropbox comments. For the past 24 hours (at least), comments are not loading consistently and any comments we make are not saving consistently. The comments section will not load until the page is refreshed repeatedly, and even then, some pages just have comments that refuse to load. When typing a comment, it does not appear to save consistently. We will navigate away from the page and come back to find comments that have disappeared entirely. This is a massive disruption to our entire workflow!
We have tried multiple browsers with no success. - Hannah4 years ago

Hey gussy, welcome to the Dropbox Community.
Are there other users that are also having this issue? And are you all connected to the same network?
Have you tried clearing your browser's cache to see if that helps?
If not, let me know and I will send you an email, so we can look into this internally.
Cheers. - gussy14 years agoHelpful | Level 5
Hi Hannah,
We are in a variety of different countries on different computers and networks, working remotely. I did try clearing my browser cache but it did not work. As another user mentioned in a different thread regarding this same problem, we've found that Business accounts are not having this issue, but every employee using a personal account is unable to comment consistently, unable to load comments consistently, and having comments that delete themselves. - gussy4 years agoNew member | Level 2
Hi Hannah,
This issue is still ongoing. We've tried clearing the cache, and we've tried multiple browsers. These files are being hosted by a Dropbox Business account. Other Dropbox Business accounts are not having these issues, but all personal accounts are still unable to load comments or write / save comments with any consistency, which is the most essential part of our jobs! Please advise. - BecauseIdontKnow4 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Hello Hannah,
I'm also having the same issue. The comments won't load unless I keep refreshing. My connection is fast and have no troubles downloading and uploading heavy files. I have tried different browsers but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
Please let us know how we could fix it.

Hey there ebrookenorthrip & Jamiea, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you try clearing your browser's cache or using another browser and let me know if this persists?
Thanks so much!

Yes, already tried clearing all Chrome settings/cache and tried Microsoft Edge.

I'm currently having the same issue. As soon as I leave a comment, and move on to the next image all the comments I left disappear. I've cleared my cache for both Safari and Chrome. I've tested this across multiple accounts on several computers and nothing has worked. Hopefully this can get resolved sooner than later.
