Auto-backup of desktop files seems to have stopped
Hello,
Dropbox used to automatically upload files/folders from my desktop when they were created. This has stopped. There also used to be a small check next to the files/folders which has also went away. How can I make dropbox automatically upload the files that I create on my PC. Dropbox is backed up fully.
Thanks

Thanks for joining the Dropbox Community, anmar20.
If you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, what's the sync status and version of the app?
Also, do you see all the correct files in your backups page online?
If you do, your backup experience might have been updated to the new version; you can see more info about the update here.
Let me know what you find.

Hello,
The Dropbox version is 197.4.7571. I do see all the files from my desktop on the backup page online. That is the issue. I want to make the backed up folders go to the Dropbox folder.

Hmm, do you remember getting a notification about an update of the Dropbox backup experience?
Because it does sound like you might have updated to the new version of the feature.
You can read more about this update here.
I hope this clarifies the situation, but if you have more questions, please let me know.
