Auto backup not working on my windows pc
Hi, I just bought a Seagate HDD and I wanted to backup on dropbox. it has unlimited storage offer but when I connect, its stuck on 0%. Its 11am here and the backup should start 10:21am as activated. further it dont allow me to click BACKUP NOW. Whats the issue? Please help me find a solution.
Ok so finally it started auto backup yesterday where I did nothing. I think Dropbox takes time to make a pre -backup first. Once it estimated the total storage after more then 24 hours, then it started making the actual backup.

Hi Sam Toor, thanks for messaging today.
Could you try disabling the automatic backup, which will enable the 'Backup now' option, and try clicking that to see if this helps?
Keep me posted!

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
Do you have any bandwidth limit in the desktop app?

Could you try quitting all open apps and services on your computer, including the Dropbox app, and then reopen it to see if this helps with the backup process?

I did but nothing happened. Even if I stop auto backup, the BACKUP NOW button is still disabled. Please provide a solution as it wasted my entire day

Could you try disconnecting and reconnecting the drive to see if this starts the process?
