Camera Upload strips location data
I'm using Android version 8.1 on a Nexus 5X and the latest Dropbox app. I've got Camera Uploads enabled and it's working nicely.
However the files in my Dropbox don't have the location data att...

4 years agoHi merlin-eng, amazing job on the screenshots, thanks for that.
Since you can see the GPS info when you right click, and then make the files available offline I would suggest that you stick with that course of action for now. This could be closely related to another similar thread, that you can find here.

Yeah - I can live with it - now I know a work around - it's just odd.
But at least I know the data is not lost.
I have an idea - that I will try at home tonight.
