Cancelling an upload

By mistake my Dropbox started to upload my whole desktop, instead of the folder I thought (and still think) that I marked. Now I can't find a way to cancel the upload, and it says it will take severa...

    Hey there olofedsinger  - how are you today?

    If I understood correctly, you're uploading files through our website (not using the desktop app) and you mistakenly uploaded more files/folders than you meant to.  

    In that case, all you need to do is close your web browser to cancel the upload completely. If any files were uploaded before doing this, you should be able to delete them as needed. 

    Let me know if I'm missing anything here please.
