Can't copy link for sub-folder under team folder
I create a sub-folder AB under a Team Folder A, and click copy links on UI, it works.
Then I switch to Admin Console and change the sub-folder AB's Access Member to only me with edit permission.
Back to the Team Folder A, click copy links on UI, I got the message:
"Couldn't copy the link. You don't have permission to create a link to this content."
I think it's a bit weird and seems like a bug. Is anyone can help with this. Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, mikechiu.
Do you see the same when using a different browser/private browsing as well?
Can you send us a screenshot of the error, so we can take a look?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, replying in this thread because I'm having the same issue.
It's also mentioned here, but I tried logging in via an incognito window, with no change.

We have a Team account, with a team folder shared with the whole org.I've created a subfolder, shared with a specific group of users (I am a member, and also a Team admin).
The "Link restrictions Prevent non-members from accessing this folder via link." is on.
When clicking the link icon in the folder, or clicking "Share folder", I get the error "Couldn't copy the link. You don't have permission to create a link to this content."Under the "Settings for "foldername"", and "Link for viewing", it says:
People with this link can viewLink not available.I turned off the link restrictions on the subfolder, and the results are the same. I created a test Word doc, and can get a sharing link to that. I re-enabled link restrictions, and can still get a link to the file. The containing (top-level) folder above this subfolder also has link restrictions on. We do want to restrict accessing files in these folders to only the team, but would like the team to be able to share links with each other.I have another Team folder, called TestShareFolder. Link restrictions were not on. I have turned on Link restrictions.I can continue to get a sharing link to both TestShareFolder, and its subfolder, also with link restrictions, which is the expected behavior. The problem shared folder above was created today, and the group it is shared with was created today. Possibly a factor, and it takes more than a minute or two for these sharing changes to update? I'll check again tomorrow. This may also be related to my open ticket #24287072 . - Nancy9 months ago

Thanks Nancy, I don't know that the problem described here is actually connected to the ticket, but it is the same symptom as described by the original poster.
