Can't share a folder get message: "Folder updates in progress. Please try again later"
I am trying to share a folder to gather photos from my wedding from guests. I have managed to share it with 41 people, but now I am getting a message "Folder updates in progress. Please try again lat...

As an extra step, can you please try to share another folder with another user and let me know if you receive the same error there, as well?
I’d like to make sure that this isn’t folder-specific.

I ended up having to delete the dropbox app from my computer and then reinstall it.

I had the same problem.
I tested the empty cache solution with no joy.
Then I tested sending to 1 user still same problem.
Then I tested less text in the note field... that worked.I tested slots of text thereafter and then homed in on 1 specific word that causes the issue.
The word is "email"
I changed the text from "email" to "@mail"
THEN I could share the folder.
