Desktop app is stuck at indexing for days
Hello, I have Dropbox on my iMac running 12.6.3 Monterey. Dropbox has been stuck on indexing for over a week. I have tried the troubleshooting advice but haven't had success. Any ideas?
Thank you!...

Thanks for the screenshot, selkie19.
Can you also check the article that Walter linked in his previous reply, on how to fix syncing issues, to see if any of the suggestions there are helpful?

3 years agoHey selkie19, thanks for the update here!
I'm glad to see that your issue seems to be resolved, but do let us know if you come across any other issues.
And thanks for checking as well, EagleG.
Would you mind letting us know the version of the Dropbox app that you have installed?
You can hover over the Dropbox icon for this info.

Hi EagleG, do you have any sync icons in the Dropbox folder in Finder during this indexing phase?

Yes--all of the folders/files I originally had selected for synching to the laptop appear in the Finder, and they all have little clouds that say "please wait" when I put the arrow over them. I can open them, but changes don't synch to Dropbox.
