Desktop App won't sync PDF files
Starting last Saturday (07/15/23) the desktop app running in Windows 11 will not sync PDF files. My DOCM files sync, but the PDFs won't sync. I can copy them from my hard drive to the cloud using the Dropbox web site, but not with the desktop app.
The only way I can get the files to sync is to uninstall the desktop app and reinstall it.

Hey PatHI, thanks for bringing this to our attention and what a strange issue.
Is this only happening with PDF files? How about images, text files, etc.?
After you uninstall and reinstall, does the issue return?
And what is the sync status and version of the Dropbox app? You can hover over your Dropbox icon for this info.
Let me know and we'll go from there.

The only 2 types of files I sync are Microsoft Word docs and Adobe PDFs. I watched the docs go without a problem. This problem happened a total of 3 times, where I had to unintall and reinstall. It has not happened since. Perhaps it's already been addressed in a product update?

Thanks for checking in, Pat!
I'm happy to see that the issue is resolved for now, but do let us know if it comes back.
Have a great day!
