Dropbox backup uploads hidden folders, even though I only selected one folder to back up.
I want to back up folder on my PC. The folder is less than 1 GB. However dropbox adds these two hidden folders to the backup. They are very large and I do not want to have them backed up on my Dropbox. Is this a bug, or is there a way to tell dropbox not to include these two folders in my backup?
Here is a view of my backup. I only selected the Assets folder to be included in the backup, but for some reason the .git and .vs (hidden folders) gets included in the backup as well.
Any help on this topic is very much appreciated.

Thanks for posting here, pixel666.
Can you send me a few more full screenshots of your Dropbox backup settings?
Also, which directory are these hidden folders normally saved in on your computer?
Let me know more details and we’ll check this further.

Hi Nancy ,
The work I am doing in this dropbox folder is classified under an NDA, so I am a bit limited by this, but I have attached a screenshot with folder names blurred.
One thing I notice is that I can see some hidden folders, which I have not selected, but the ones which ends up on my backup are not visible from the list, even though they are in the same folder. The folder is part of a git project, which is why the .git folder exists.

Hi pixel666, are the folders deleted and regenerated when you're compiling a program?
