2 years agoThanks for the update, Monica!
Are you an admin on the team?
And is the person you've shared the link with a member of the team, or an external user?
If they're not on the team, make sure to check that external sharing is enabled in your admin console.

I am an Admin;
The folder I'm trying to share would be shared with an external user, not a team member.
External Sharing is turned ON(Anyone)
Shared Links Outside Your Team is ON.
Default Access for Shared Links is ON (I left both of these last two settings at their defaults when I created the sharing link)

Thanks for the update, Monica and happy Monday!
Can you send me a screenshot of the settings of the link itself?
To see these settings, click on the share button next to the folder on dropbox.com, and then click on the gear icon.

Hi from me too, monica97! Can you please click on the “Link for editing” option and send us a screenshot of what you see there, as well?
Also, you mentioned previously that you’re able to open this link fine on your end; can you please open an incognito window on your browser and open the shared link from there, without logging into your Dropbox account? Does it still preview alright for you?

and Yes, I can open the link in an incognito window. I get the options to Join Folder, Copy to Dropbox or Download. I can see the subfolders and open them and see all the files within them. I'm able to open the files as well.

Thanks for trying that out! Your contractor shouldn’t be having an issue then, since you can access the shared link normally.
Has she tried a different browser or an incognito window, as well?
