External drive not matching my DropBox

Hi there,

 

I have certain folders in my external drive that I synch, but they do not match the files in my dropbox.

And sometimes I cannot open certain PDFs in my external drive that have synced.

Hoping someone can give some guidance 🙂

    Do you mean that you're updating the files on your external hard drive and those updates don't reflect here?

     

    Can you also send me a screenshot of what you see exactly when trying to access your PDF files? That'd be super helpful.

    Hi Jurij-MacBook2022, are you using the Dropbox Backup feature to backup your external drive, or another feature or service?

     

    The former will not show your external drive backup in the Dropbox folder, which is what you're showing.

    Hey Jurij-MacBook2022, sorry to jump in here, but could you try previewing this file on the website and let us know how it goes?

     

    If you still get an error, you could also try downloading or exporting it to your device and opening it from there.

    Hey Jurij-MacBook2022, I've responded on the other thread, that you have open at the moment. 

     

    As for phone Support, you should be able to see all of your Support options here
