File Request option missing on macOs after File Provider update
Hello
Since I've updated to File Provider on my MacOs Desktop App, I'm not seeing the 'Request Files' option after right-clicking a folder.
I can still request files for each specific folder via the website file request form, but the ability to right-click and request files directly from the folder that you wanted just made the process A LOT faster.
Why is it gone and how can I bring it back?

Thanks for posting about this on the forum, leolaurettimusic.
Besides the “Request files” option, are you seeing other Dropbox options in your context menu, like “Share”, “Send a copy” etc?
Besides that, I’d like to know your OS version, as well as the syncing status and app version of your Dropbox app.
Let me know, and we’ll go from there.

Hey leolaurettimusic, would you mind sending us a screenshot of the right-click options you see?

Thanks for the screenshot, leolaurettimusic.
I've looked into this and it seems file requests can be created only on dropbox.com, following these steps.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this and I'll make sure to pass your feedback along to our team.

I know, but it used to be possible to do this directly from MacOs
It all changed with File Provider
This is not a solution for this issue, as this is more a 'we changed and there's no solution for this'
