Files in shared master folder appear in different sub-folders for members of the same team
The Team administrator has created sub-folders and moved some files into these new folders. As a team member I can see and open the new sub-folders but for me they are empty. The files that have been moved by the Administrator are still visible and accessible to me in the master folder not the sub-folders??
Why are the document in different places for different team members. How can I see the synced folders correctly. I am using a Mac.

Hey Rhys Davies, thanks for joining our Community.
When you say "team", can you please clarify if you're referring to a Dropbox Business team? Or are you all individual Dropbox users with access to the same shared folder?
If what you described is what you're seeing in your local Dropbox folder, can you check how things look in your account on dropbox.com?
Let me know what you find.

Firstly we are individual Dropbox users with access to the same shared folder.
The shared folder administrator uses the Dropbox App to move files into sub-folders, her app shows the files in different folders. I typically access dropbox through dropbox.com, the files are not inside the sub-folders on Dropbox.com.
The Administrator tells me she has multiple similar master and sub folder structures with other clients yet I am seemingly the only one with this particular issue. In other words the files of her other clients are all appear in the sub -folders into which she has put them - Hannah4 months ago

Thanks for the clarification, Rhys.
Can you let me know how you originally added the shared folder to your account?
Were you invited to join the folder with an email invitation or were you sent a link and you chose the "Copy to Dropbox" option?
