Files not syncing for days, on my laptop I need help.

my dropbox files are syncing days later on my laptop than on  my desktop just out of the blue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my laptop but files that are on my desktop the last 48 hours...

Are we referring to the laptop or your desktop bizarrodancer? 

 

Since both devices are up-to-date, you should be able to see the changes reflected both on the web, and inside the Dropbox folder on each of the devices, is that so?

Think I found the issue Megan. IT installed new monitor and desktop but when setting up only had Dropbox folder on desktop and not the app. It was when I installed the app that everything started to sync again. It still doesn't explain why there was a lag in syncing from my desktop Dropbox to my laptop app.

    I could see the changes on desktop but not on the laptop. The file folder on laptop was not up to date.
    Now I've installed the app on desktop it's all working fine again.
