Hey baip, thanks for using Dropbox and happy Friday!
This sounds expected if you disbanded the team and I'm afraid you'll need to share these folders anew.

I understand that the owner of the disbanded team receives copies of the team folders and that those sharing the folders that became the team folders still have shared access to them. I'm one of those sharing the original folders. Why don't I see an owner of those folders? Doesn't every folder have an owner?

Hey baip, if the owner of the folder was a member who's left the team or the folder, the folder won't have an owner.
If you want, you can create a brand new folder and copy the contents of this folder to the new one, so that you can re-share it with the people that need access and you can be the owner.
