Folders, with folders, with folders ....

I have a very large folder (36 GB), containing folders, containing folders etc. I tried to upload the large folder but it didn't work; just a small part was uploaded. Is there a limit to what I can ...

How are you uploading? 

If its via the desktop client Dropbox uploads and creates folder structures first, then it populates files from smallest to largest. So it will appear random for quite awhile until it finishes.
