have a pc desktop shortcut of excel sheet sync in real time to drobox original version

my worker updates a copy of a sheet on excel that is done daily and is avaialble offline he like it to have a desktop shortcut to click it easily   he has another file that does this already how ...

He needs to be editing the file in the actual Dropbox folder on his machine. 

 

So he needs to have the software running and update the shortcuts to the one inside Dropbox

    If we make edits to a “copy” of the document (editing and testing formulas on exact replica of original ) and then when done with edits can we rename the copy I was working on to the file name they were working & put it back into same dropbox folder as originals plus new updates and lines on it ?will it still keep all formulas and everything in tact ?
