Having syncing issues with my external drive on Windows 11
I have an external drive for all my Dropbox files. I have the latest version of Dropbox 195.4.4995 and Windows 11 is up to date.
Dropbox has been working for several years without any problem. ...

1 year agoHey jackybe67, odd that the app states it's up to date, but it clearly shows some syncing files.
Have you tried checking its syncing status using these steps? It might sound trivial, but have you tried re-starting your device at all?

Reinstalled Dropbox about 5 times, restarts....
When i place a file into my Dropbox after the restart it will automaticly sync. But after a while when i put in a new file it doesn't anymore and the blue sync sign stays until i restart or log out and in.

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

Just the standard Windows Defender.

Could you check the bandwidth settings in the Dropbox desktop application? Also, is the external drive connected via USB 30 or C to your machine, and is it also in use frequently during times of syncing?
