How can I get Dropbox in Finder?
I have read the earlier discussions on getting DropBox into Finder and the bottom Menu but unfortunately they are not working on my new MacBookPro (which is a very basic model). It is using Sonoma 14.7.1.
I need to constantly access my DropBox files from wherever I am working, but am unable to dop so. This is a huge hindrance to my work on a daily basis. Desperate for advice please.
Hey makere, thanks for the screenshot!
It looks indeed like the Dropbox icon is missing from your Mac's doc. Would you mind clarifying the app's current syncing status?
Have you tried uninstalling the app, restarting the device and re-installing it by any chance?

Hi makere, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify what you're looking for exactly? Are you referring to having the Dropbox folder visible in Finder itself?
Have you installed the Dropbox desktop application on your device?
This will help me to assist further!

Is it running? Can you see it at the top near the clock and date etc.?

Could you explain exactly what you mean by attaching a file? What error are you getting when trying to do so?
Are the files showing up as local with a green syncing icon?

It seems so bizarre that I cant get DropBox to show in Finder. It limits my ability to do lots of things

Could you copy and paste a screenshot in your next reply showing your Finder as it is, and also showing the current status of the Dropbox desktop application when you click the icon in the menu bar near the clock?

Perhaps it is just that I am so used to having it in Finder and need to find other ways of accessing it to move things around now. It certainly isnt possible to do that using the web option.
