How can I share my Apple photos library to another person?
I used back up to upload apple photos to dropbox - It is really for archival off line backup of an old photos library. How c an I share that with someone else on my team/family

Then you are saying the retention for backup is forever (as long as my account is active) is that correct, even if I never again connect the external drive with the photos to my computer

As long as your account is active is the key here - and by that it means regular logging in and using of Dropbox. If you do not log in for 12 months Dropbox accounts and data are wiped due to inactivity.
