How do I keep the contents of a shared folder when I'm removed from the folder?

Good Afternoon,   How do i keep a folder that is being unshared with me? I do not see a checkmark or option anywhere that says keep folder when unshare. Also  the person who is unsharing the fold...

Its from a Teams folder. We are not getting any option to keep the folder so far.

If it's from a team folder, then you won't be able to keep a copy for security purposes.

 

You'll need to duplicate the folder to another private folder on your account, or download the folder to your machine.
