How do I stop Dropbox from uploading every single picture on my PC?
I use Dropbox on my computer to backup my work files which include my 3D renders that consist in a png sequence (one image per frame at 30 or 60fps), so I have thousands of png images related to rend...

No, The problem is that its adding ALL images found in backed up folders from my computer, to the camera roll backup. So if I look for actual photos in the mobile app "Photo Tab" I see thousands of renders and icon packs or textures mixed with my actual photos.
As you can see these are icons and images found in my computer backup folders, they shouldn't mix with my actual camera uploads but Dropbox somehow thinks it's a good idea.
Dropbox shouldn't add EVERY SINGLE jpg/png found on my computer to the Photo tab.

Okay, so just to clarify, you're saving the images in a folder which is in your Dropbox folder, and as such, the images appear on the Photos tab on the site and mobile app, is that correct?

Hi, I wonder if you resolved this issue? I have the same problem that my "work" jpgs are added together with my mobile phone photos into the Dropbox Photos. The "work" jpgs are in separate folders in Dropbox, not on my phone. Is there a way to stop this?

Hi Magdalena7, thanks for posting here!
As Rich mentioned earlier in this thread, all uploaded files larger than 15 KB will show up in your Photos tab.
You can always group or filter them, but not specifically exclude content.
If you have any other questions, I'm here!

But that's exactly what it does. The Photos page shows every image, not just photos, from ALL folders within your Dropbox account. It has no way to determine what is a photo and what is an icon, texture, etc.
There used to be a way that you could tell it to ignore certain folders so they wouldn't appear on the Photos page, but that was removed years ago.

That's really annoying, I know it has no way of knowing what is a texture or icon but I wish there was an option that images in certain folders are NOT added to the same location my actual photos are, or at least to not mix my camera roll with computer pngs... I guess most people don't have thousands of images like me.
