How to avoid Editor delete my folders/ files?
I am the owner of the Folder A.
I share Folder A to other account with the right can Edit.
How to avoid the Editor delete my folder?

Hi Jay,
Thanks for getting me back.
I would like to prevent the Editor can delete any folders/ file which shared by me as an owner.
It means that, if Editor do not receive the owner agree, cannot delete any shared folders/ files.

3 years agoThis wouldn't be possible, since an editor can add, edit or delete any files in a shared folder. Even if they didn't have permission to delete files, they could still edit those files to remove all data in it.
If you only need people to add files, consider using a file request instead.

File request as your recommendation is also a good idea.
However,it concerns about management data in teamwork; when we work together, it is important to save data and avoid someone delete the files/ folders by accident. The owner cannot always check to recover the files/ folders were deleted.
Since I found OneDrive can set up and solve my problem, so I wonder if Dropbox can do it as well in the future?
