How to compress a file?

I have received photos from a photographer however the files are too large to use on my website. When I try to upload them to my website it says files exceed 20 mega pixels.  How can I compress the files to a usable size. i have put them into a zip folder and they are still too large

    Hi Briony Kopp 

     

    This isnt something you can do via Dropbox I'm afraid - you are going to need to find some sort of image editing program or speak to a web developer to do this
