I just upgraded to the business account and all of my folders and files were put into what appears to be a personal folder. Within it, there is a folder that I want to be accessible to everyone (I've...

Since you're the Admin, have you ensured that all of the requirements I quoted above are met through your Admin's Console (linked below)?

I am also having the same problem. A client shared a folder with our office, and I am the administrator of our dropbox account, but I am not being allowed to put this folder in our team space so that we can work on it together. Please tell us how to move a folder from my personal pink folder to the team space. I am permitted to edit the folder, but I am not the owner. This should not matter because it was shared with our office. I am not going to ask the client to transfer ownership to me so that my staff can work on his project.

Sorry to hear about this SAHlu.
As you're not the owner of this folder, at this point, you'll need to re-create it within your team space and then copy/move the files there.
If the owner of the original folder is not a member of your team, please review my previous suggestions on this very same post.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I have the same problem.
I just upgraded to Dropbox business, and my entire Dropbox fileset has now been moved into my personal folder. These are not currently shared folders, they are my entire Dropbox dataset, which I now need to make available to other team members.
I now need to be able to share some of them with my team, and my understanding is that this is best done by moving them into the Team Folder. However, when I try and move any of the folders in my personal folder, the Team Folder is greyed out as a destination to move them to.
I own all the folders, and am the admin on the business account.
Please can you provide some clear information on how this is achieved.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with this Trailerman.
At this point, let me clarify that since member folders (your personal space) are specifically designed for each user to organize their own way, they can’t be moved, deleted or shared in their entirety.
If you want to share some of the content in your member folder, you can move it to the team space share it directly by clicking “share”.
For more information, please take a look at the following Help Center article:

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any additional questions; I'll be happy to follow up. Oh, and happy Monday!
