I can no longer access files from my second device remotely
I use two devices - one office, one home. Aiming to access my devices offline, I started using Dropbox so that I could see my Desktop files of both devices in my Dropbox web and mobile application. In this way, I could access files and folders in my office device at home. However for some months ago, I lost this connection. I did not change any setting.
How can I access my other device via Dropbox (without uploading files on Dropbox folder!)
Dear Jay, thank you for following up my request. As I mentioned before, my problem was to access folders of my second device as a Dropbox folder directly. Now the problem is partly solved, I can access them via Dropbox Backups. So, we can mark this conversation as solved. Kind regards.

Hey YaseminSL, thanks for posting to our Community today!
So, if I understand correctly, you have 3 devices connected to your Dropbox account, but you can no longer access the desktop files of your work computer from your other devices.
If we're talking about backup files, while it's expected not to be able to access them from the Dropbox mobile app, you should still be able to access them from the backups page in your account online.
What do you see when you go to your backups page?
If this is not about backup files, though, please provide some additional details on the situation, so I can assist you further.
Thanks, Yasemin!

Thank you for your response, Hannah. Actually, I am not talking about backup files. I mean directly accessing my desktop in home computer from office computer via Dropbox. All my folders were being synchronized previously: I could see blue icon on the bottom of each folder on desktop, now they disappeared.
ps. yes, I have three devices, yet I do not actively use mobile device.

Thanks for the update, Yasemin!
Just to be absolutely sure, are you referring to files that are in the local Dropbox folder on both computers? Or specifically folders in the Desktop folder (the one created by your OS, like Downloads and Documents)?
Also, on the computer where you used to see the blue icon that you mentioned, do you see a small Dropbox icon in the system tray/menu bar?
If so, please hover over it with your mouse and let me know what you see.
If you could send us some screenshots of the issue, so we can have a visual too, it'd be really helpful.

I can access remotely from backup section. I meant directly accessing as a folder on dropbox, yet, as far as I understand, it is not active at all. Previously it was more practice, but having access through another way is okay. Thank you for your consideration and support.

YaseminSL It sounds like your office computer that was originally syncing to Dropbox is no longer doing that. And as a result, you cannot access these files from home like you used to, correct?
If this is the case, can you please follow these steps provided by Hannah on your work computer?
