Dropbox Product Manager
11 months agoHi, psychomaniac189 -- Thanks for flagging this! I'm on the Product Management team here at Dropbox, and I'd love to better understand the issue you're having.
If I'm following correctly, it sounds like you've set your Screenshot settings (in Preferences) to "Copy Link," but when you take a screenshot, you're not able to paste the link.
I notice you said "press ctrl+v to copy." When that pop-up appears, it should copy the link automatically -- and you should be able to use CRTL + V to paste it (vs. copy it).
If you take a screenshot and then immediately use CRTL + V to try and paste it somewhere, does that work for you? Or does it still not paste anything?
Cheers,
Ryan
